Purchasing an original artwork or print does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

You may not use images of artwork from this website to create prints, merchandise, digital products, AI-generated works, derivative artwork, or other products for sale or distribution.

If you are interested in licensing artwork, requesting permission to reproduce an image, or using artwork for a specific purpose, please contact The Forty Seven Studio.

Unauthorized use of artwork or website content may violate applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Shipping Policy

Thank you for supporting The Forty Seven Studio. Because we offer original artwork, fine art prints, and other art-based products that may be produced and shipped by different fulfillment partners, shipping times and methods may vary by product.

1. Original Artwork

Original artwork is carefully packaged and shipped individually based on the size, weight, materials, and specific needs of each piece.

Please allow 7–10 business days for original artwork to be prepared and shipped.

Larger, unusually shaped, or especially delicate pieces may require additional preparation or specialized shipping arrangements. If additional time is needed, we will communicate with you as soon as possible.

A tracking number will be provided for shipped original artwork whenever tracking is available.

Signature Requirement

For the protection of both the artwork and the purchaser, a signature upon delivery is required for original artwork unless the purchaser specifically requests otherwise.

If you choose to waive the signature requirement, you accept responsibility for the package once it is delivered according to the carrier's tracking information. The Forty Seven Studio is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage that occurs after delivery when the signature requirement has been waived at the purchaser's request.

2. Prints and Other Products

Fine art prints and other products may be produced and fulfilled by third-party print-on-demand and manufacturing partners, including WHCC, Gelato, Printful, and other fulfillment providers used by The Forty Seven Studio.

Because these products may be produced at different facilities, manufacturing and shipping times can vary by product, destination, and fulfillment provider.

For many products, production generally takes approximately 2–3 business days, followed by approximately 5–7 business days for shipping. These timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

The estimated shipping information provided at checkout or with the individual product is the most current information available for that order.

Some products may require additional production or shipping time.

3. Tracking Information

Tracking information will be provided when tracking is available for your order.

For products fulfilled by third-party providers, tracking information may not become available until the product has completed production and has been handed over to the shipping carrier.

Please allow some time for tracking information to update after your order has shipped.

4. Shipping Delays

Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are largely determined by the shipping carrier and are outside of The Forty Seven Studio's direct control.

Weather, holidays, carrier delays, incorrect addresses, high shipping volumes, and other unforeseen circumstances may cause delays.

We will do our best to assist you if a shipping issue occurs, but we cannot guarantee carrier delivery dates.

5. Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Addresses

Please carefully review your shipping information before completing your purchase.

The Forty Seven Studio is not responsible for delays, returned packages, additional shipping charges, or other problems resulting from an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.

If you realize that you have entered an incorrect address, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to assist, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered processing or shipping.

6. Lost, Stolen, or Marked-Delivered Packages

If tracking indicates that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check with household members, neighbors, and the shipping carrier.

For original artwork, signature confirmation is normally required to help protect against delivery disputes.

If a package is lost or appears to be delayed in transit, please contact us so that we can help determine the appropriate next steps with the shipping carrier or fulfillment provider.

The Forty Seven Studio is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.

7. Damaged Artwork or Products

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your artwork or product arrives damaged, please contact us within 5 days of arrival and provide photographs of the damaged item and, when applicable, the packaging and shipping label.

Do not discard the damaged item or packaging until we have had an opportunity to review the situation and provide further instructions.

Damage claims and replacement requests may be subject to the policies and procedures of the shipping carrier or fulfillment provider.

8. Domestic Shipping Only

At this time, The Forty Seven Studio ships orders within the United States only.

We do not currently offer standard international shipping.

International shipping may be considered for individual orders upon request. If you are located outside the United States and are interested in purchasing a particular piece, please contact us before placing an order so we can determine whether shipping arrangements can be made.

Additional shipping costs, customs fees, duties, taxes, or other charges may apply to international orders if international shipping becomes available.

9. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges vary depending on the product, size, weight, destination, fulfillment provider, and shipping method.

The applicable shipping cost will be displayed during checkout when available.

For original artwork requiring specialized shipping, shipping arrangements and costs may vary by piece. If a special shipping arrangement is necessary, we will communicate the details with the purchaser.

Returns, Exchanges & Damaged Items Policy

At The Forty Seven Studio, each piece of artwork is created and prepared with care. Because many of our products are original artwork or made specifically through our print and production partners, all sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or otherwise qualifies for assistance under this policy.

Please review this policy before completing your purchase.

1. Original Artwork

All sales of original artwork are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges simply because a purchaser changes their mind, decides the artwork is not the right fit, or is dissatisfied with the purchase after delivery.

Because each original artwork is one-of-a-kind, we carefully package and prepare each piece for shipment based on its individual size, weight, materials, and shipping requirements.

Original artwork is generally shipped within 7–10 business days, with tracking provided when available.

Damage During Shipping

Although we take significant care to package original artwork securely, damage can occasionally occur during transit.

If an original artwork arrives damaged, please contact The Forty Seven Studio within 5 days of delivery and provide:

• Photographs of the artwork and the damage

• Photographs of the packaging, including any visible damage

• A photograph of the shipping label

• Your order information

Please do not discard the artwork, packaging, or shipping materials until we have reviewed the damage and provided further instructions.

Because original artwork is unique, a damaged piece cannot necessarily be replaced with an identical item.

After reviewing the circumstances and available documentation, The Forty Seven Studio will determine the appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, a replacement when reasonably possible, a refund, or another appropriate resolution.

Any resolution for shipping damage may also depend on the requirements of the shipping carrier or shipping insurance associated with the order.

Signature Requirement

Original artwork is normally shipped with a signature requirement upon delivery unless the purchaser specifically requests that the requirement be waived.

If a purchaser chooses to waive the signature requirement, The Forty Seven Studio is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after the carrier records the package as delivered.

2. Prints and Other Print-on-Demand Products

Because prints and other products are produced specifically for an order through third-party production partners, we do not accept returns or exchanges for changes of mind, incorrect size selections, or other reasons unrelated to damage or a manufacturing defect.

If your print or other product arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

Please provide photographs of:

• The damaged or defective product

• The packaging

• The shipping label, when applicable

• Your order information

We may request additional information or photographs to submit a claim to the appropriate production or shipping provider.

If the item qualifies for a damage or manufacturing claim, the item may be replaced or another appropriate resolution may be provided in accordance with the applicable provider's policies.

3. Incorrect or Damaged Orders

If you receive an item that is substantially different from what you ordered, please contact us within 5 days of delivery so that we can review the situation and determine the appropriate resolution.

4. No Exchanges

The Forty Seven Studio does not offer exchanges for original artwork, prints, or other products.

If you are unsure about the size, dimensions, materials, or other details of a piece before purchasing, please contact us. We are happy to answer questions and provide additional information when possible.

5. Cancellations

Because some products may begin production shortly after an order is placed, cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible.

Once an order has entered production, been prepared for shipment, or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Please contact us promptly if you need to request a cancellation.

6. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, dimensions, images, shipping information, and other available product details before purchasing.

Colors may appear slightly different depending on your monitor, device, lighting, and other factors.

Purchasing an original artwork means purchasing the specific physical artwork shown in the listing. Minor variations in texture, brushwork, surface characteristics, and other qualities inherent to original artwork are not considered defects.
